This double spout and bridge bottle has a horizontal relief figure of a monkey that wraps around the body of the vessel. This vessel is from the Nasca culture, which emerged following Paracas. Technological and stylistic shifts are evident in Nasca material culture, such as on this vessel with its use of colored slip. The slip would have been applied to the vessel prior to initial firing of the vessel rather than post-fired which is typically seen in Paracas tradition.
